Nugent Attorney e-mail: cnugent@cldplaw.com I grew up North of Boston, Massachusetts where I attended public schools, after which I graduated from College of the Holy Cross, in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1986. After graduation, I served a year with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Oakland, California, where I worked with the Alameda County Food Bank. Thereafter, I worked with Frank Greer, at Greer, Margolis, Mitchell, and Burns, a political advertising firm in Washington, D.C. While in D.C., I trained with and graduated from the AFL-CIO Organizing Institute. I then worked in Louisiana, Arkansas, North Carolina and other Southern states with the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union. During this time period I met my husband, Marc Panepinto, who is a native Western New Yorker. In 1993 I moved to the Buffalo, New York area and worked with the Communications Workers of America, Graduate Student Employees Union and the Laborers International Union of North America. I enrolled in law school at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law, graduating in 1997. I have worked with the excellent and dedicated attorneys at Cantor, Lukasik, Dolce and Panepinto since that time, as well as with my three daughters, now eleven, nine and six. I am affiliated with the Womens Bar Association of New York, with whom I chair the judiciary committee, the American Trial Lawyers Association, New York State Bar Association, Erie County Bar Association and Western New York Trial Lawyers Association. I was also elected to the Buffalo Public School Board of Education on which I serve as the North District Representative and Vice President of Student Achievement. Return to Profile List |
